Im surprised by all the negative reviews. I actually quite like this mouse. I wouldnt say its good for a 270 mouse, Id say its good for any mouse.
Im a designer and spend 9-10hr days on CAD software. When my company supplied us with this mouse I thought, "Why the heck are they giving us this rinky dinky thing?" I brought in my own Logitech Marathon Mouse(a good mouse too, by the way) but I decided Id much rather keep that mouse at home and decided to put up with the generic mouse at work.
After a while I dare say that I saw the advantages of the Dell mouse. Its cursor is quite precise, I love that the scroll wheel clicks in small increments, and most importantly I love that that design only requires a light clicks. This light touch click was the subtle difference that set the Dell mouse over the Logitech. After all, working hours on CAD you start to notice that slight difference in click weight. Long story short, Im here buying an extra one to keep at my house.*Side note: Ive been using the Dell mouse at work for a year without any problems, so Im also surprised at the reviews saying theirs broke after a short time.
