When it comes to Dell hard drive, they looks trendy and stylish. They also provide a good number of options with good data transfer rates and various storage capacities.
I also got charmed with their product and bought 1 TB external Hard disk. It was provided with 2 years of warranty to me. It was having good data transfer rates and I never faced an issue with it for around 2 years and 3 months.
One day to explore some of my data on hard drive, I plugged it into my laptop and it didn’t get recognize. I tried multiple times but the result was same. I communicated to the Dell services center to get the issue resolved and narrated them the whole story.
They told me that product is having some hardware issue and it is needed to be diagnosed for that. They checked the serial number of my product and it was out of warranty. I asked them to pay for the repair cost, but then get a shocking revelation from their side that they don’t even provide the paid service the products out of warranty.
Once it is out of warranty, then you will not get any ind of support from Dell and you have to get it operated from the external service providers. So, I will not recommend of using such products.
