Stylish but But disappointed about transfer speed. Written as 1.48Gbps with USB 3.0, I got max 90 mbps with USB 3.0 In windows 8 in Dell inspiron laptop.
there speed & look is too good & its backup power is too safe as safe. and it virus free . if u keep it safely is going to run with fun & just like data bag or pc hdd in your pocket. This hard disk is just plain BAD.
Issue #1: The read/ write speed slowly decreases over time.
The speed will start at 110/ 60 and then drop to slowly to 1/3rd of the speed. The good part is if it is a big file atleast it will transfer the file over.
Issue #2: Small Files transfer at very low speed: A small text file sometimes it takes ages. I have seen copy speed as low as 100 kb/s. It is understood that different files transfer at different speeds, but this is ridiculous.
Don’t waste your money on this. I think Seagate sold all of its rejected HDs to Dell to make this product.
Friends, unfortunately I have to give a star so I am giving one, otherwise I would have given none. Flipkart also needs to have negative stars for absolutely abysmal products
The dell backup hard drive is delivered in good condition and it looks light weight stylish shape. The performance is too good right now.
Better u can go for seagate it worth the Money
