Poor product quality, decent after sales service

I have purchased 2 dell laptops in the past 6 years, and both suffered from:


hard disk errors


heating issues, that often made the touch pad unresponsive


minor keyboard issues


and the recent laptop got severe got screens, which was not solved despite screen replacements.


80% of the time, their Technical support is good, and I would be able to solve the problem, but one they made me wipe the hard disk unnecessarily, and during one case, the same technician was sent, and he was often late, in a hurry, and fairly rough with the laptop.


Please read reviews of a laptop before buying. The company might have a good reputation, but even good companies make bad products.


Note: in the attached photo, there are 2 dell laptops. The one on the right is mine, with the screen issue. The one of the left is borrowed from a friend. That particular piece undergoes a lot of rough use, unlike mine, but does not give as many issues as mine.
