Taking Customers for Granted attitude of Dell

I have been using Dell Inspiron1525 since 2008. Since then I had to practically replace entire body and including LCD. Only the main board remains the same. I paid for extended complete cover too.


Having experienced such replacement need of parts, I decided to upgrade my NBD warranty to complete cover warranty on Inspiron14Z purchased from Dubai but, I am asked to pay Rs 11499 for standard warranty then complete cover warranty for Rs 12999.00. On checking with executive I am informed that they do not have policy to upgrade warranty type even if customer is ready to pay for the upgraded warranty.


I purchased Dell Laptop from Dubai during DSF and found such treatment from Dell India.


Now  I request friends for the following..

  • Don’t buy Dell Laptop from abroad as Dell India will try to penalize you for the same.

  • Complete cover is absolutely necessary as otherwise you will end up paying huge amount because of poor quality of parts.

  • Check hp or lenove instead of Dell.
