There is nothing to go gaga about it, I really had very bad experience buying this monitor. I bought DELL S2240L monitor from the local computer mall, I came home happily thinking I could see better monitor and will replace my current monitor which was a decent BenQ LCD.
Well, set up was obviously easy, just connecting certain cables and you are good to go(i guess even a novice people can do it). I switched on the monitor for first time, to my surprise I could not really differentiate the color reproduction when compared to my old monitor which was indeed a LCD, I was stunned! I looked all over the package box and manual thinking I might accidentally bought a LCD instead of LED, but everything was in vain. The LED is so horrible and also this monitor tend to loose colors when you shift viewing angle to just 50 degree which was again not in case with my old monitor.
It was indeed a bad buy I never thought the big brand like DELL manufactures this type of cheap quality monitors, literally. They advertise with so called "LED" in main picture but the color reproduction, viewing angle is so much horrible that other cheap chinese brand look very good. Even the built quality is so plasticy, I guess one can live with that but not with poor color reproduction.nah!.
The so called DELL service is also pathetic and I couldn’t get pass through the executive.
Very disappointing and I will refrain buying any DELL products in future.
Suggestions: Do not go buy blindly, check reviews first or check physically.
