Dell S2240L (21.5'') LED Monitor

There is no doubt that this is an excellent monitor and I do not wish to write too much about this one as there are lot of reviews.

Pros:

Full HD display with HDMI input & Audio out

Low Power consumption

IPS Panel

Viewing angle

Great HD movie experience

Cons:

No HDMI Cable

Requires Manual config with ATI Radeon video card

Text size is too small to read in full resolution

Technical Issue & Fix:

If you have a ATI Radeon Video card and your monitor is connected thru HDMI port, then you might not be able to see the video in full screen.

If you are facing this issue, then follow the steps below.

1. Open ATI Control Center and bring down the Graphics menu and select the Desktops and Displays option. You can see this in System tray or right click on desktop and select’Catalyst Control’

   
   




2. Depending on your version, select’Desktops & Display’ or’My Digital Flat Panels’

   
   




3. Click’configure’ or directly go to’Scaling Options’ depending on your version

   
   




4. Set it to 0%(Overscan)

   
   

Bingo! You will have full screen video!
