Beware if you are using ATI radeon and Window 8 on it . If you don’t get the right 64bit driver all you get in black space toward upwards and downwards . worst of all that is uncalibrated touch panel which will made window 8 experience totally worthless
I had calibrateed it only with window 8 somehow but still had the black lines so I downgraded the operating system to window 7 and volla its work like a charm
This is not the best monitor choice if you are using window 8 cause of driver issue it require really well informed hardware guy to calibrate it properly
P.S This is also not a good monitor for gaming purposes its contrast ratio is lower even as compare to its cheaper counter parts.
