Poor Post Sale Support

I think Sangeetha is selling some gray market DELL Streak devices. I bought my DELL STREAK on 13-Jun-2011. As advised by DELL in their site to register the device bought at any dealer, I found that my device is not having the Warranty support at all.


Also the shipping date is 10-Mar-2011. Even we checked couple of device yesterday (19-Jun-2011) available at the Store and found that none of them are registered in the DELL site and not having the warranty Support. I bought the device at Sangeetha Jaya Nagar branch. Anybody who buy DELL STREAK, please check the Service Tag present at the side of the box and also inside the device.


This is unique reference number for any DELL product. I had called the service center to cross check the warranty status and I have been told that my device is not under warranty. Escalated the same to the dealer and had some conference calls with the DELL Territory Managers. No use. They are saying 30 out off 100 devices only will have service tag registered at the DELL site.


I was taken by surprise and left with the same device. This is something like driving a Car with out insurance after paying 24, 200 (device) + 650 (Screen Guard). The support and service of the dealer and the manufacture were meticulous. Hence please don’t buy mobiles from Sangeetha especially DELL devices.
