Don't buy Dell Laptops

I have a 17" Dell studio. The keys started coming off within 2 weeks of use. I had it replaced and again faced the same problem within 10 days. When I called DELL to complain they said they won’t replace the keyboard for free. I left it as is and I am currently using the laptop with 2 loose keys for the last 9 months now. The battery life is just a little over 1 hr. The laptop speakers(inbuilt) had scratches right from the time it was shipped. I let it go not wanting to make a huge fuss. My DVD drive stopped working 2 months ago and had to be replaced.


My experience with a DELL Laptop has been highly unsatisfying. I bought a DELL Laptop thinking it would be a quality laptop. I was so wrong. The funny part is I bought this laptop through a DELL employee.


Are they giving off faulty laptops through DELL Employees?
