When you buy a sub 30k laptop, you except it to atleast have 2+ Ghz speed, amongst other things that are an absolute must. While some of us will be happy with 4 GB DDR3 memory, one generally expects a 30k Laptop to be around 8 GB DDR3. The device boasts a 1.7GHz Intel Core i3 4005U 4th generation processor suppported by 4GB DDR3 RAM expandable memory to 8GB. While the storage might be an issue with only 500GB SATA 5400 RPM hard disk, the display doesn’t disappoint with an excellent 35.5cm/14-inch LED Backlit Display with Anti Glare and HD resolution(1366 x 768).
The one on amazon comes with DOS operating system. But if you buy from a local store you will get the latest windows/Linux.
