I bought the Dell XPS(L502X) laptop on 21/10/2011 (So it is still in warranty cover) , the laptops LED screen was having a black spot, so I called customer care, they asked me to send a picture of LED through e - mail, so I sent them the pics if the problem screen, then they said that they are not seeing any problem with the screen.
They advised me to take my laptop to Lajpat Nagar in New Delhi at local Dell Services Centre. At service centre first they asked me to leave it for repair and after 2 days they called me and asked that for a single dot problem on your Screen we can’t change it. After I insisted them that while my laptop is still in warranty cover and the problem is now getting more worsted as I now spotted more than 1 back dot on the screen, then they again asked me after 2 days and told me that they have replaced my LED screen. Once I reach at my home after getting back from Service centre I found that although those black dots were gone, but there was a new problem of Yellowish look on my laptop. Instead of Brightness it’s now displaying Yellowish for white brightness or white colour. As I am a graphic designer, I need a perfect White screen for my work and facing problem due to Yellowish screen.
When I asked them to the new problem, they asked to book a new complaint in Dell care for this problem. Then again the People form Dell customer care have been visited to my place several times for the problem, they changed the LED screen for many times, even changed and check on different Mother board and Processor but to no avail from the Current Yellowish problem. During changing my LED they also broke my LED back cover and LED front frame cover, and still I am waiting for my Laptop to be rectifying for the above said problem.
I am very disappointed with the service quality of Dell services.
