I fly 4-5 times per year to San Francisco to visit my son and 2 grandchildren and occasionally to other cities such as Chicago, NY, Houston, Miami, etc. Several times I have flown Continental, United or American. Delta has been consistently the best for me. I’ve run into your typical airline problems with all carriers, but the number of such incidents with Delta has been minimal.
My prefernece is First Class when my husband joins me, otherwise I fly Coach Flexible when I travel alone (which is the majority of the time). The hostesses are attentive and pleasant., the flights are punctual and the counter personnel are always more than willing to answer questions and help with any problem. Also, Delta frequently bumps me up to First Class. When flying to Europe, I have found them to be everything I expect based on the fare.
And they don’t charge for soda/juice/snacks in Coach! My only concern is that Delta and Northwest have merged. After one horrific NW flight years ago, I have avoided NW all my adult life!!!!!
