The postal department is good.Its not great, but it isn’t bad either.There are delays, there are wrong deliveries but in the end, work gets done.It could be a fat cheque from the united states.It could be a document relating to your bank account.It could be your application to an overseas university.It always gets to you.The post and telegraph department has a difficult job.Handling millions of letters, sorting them, and delivering them to your doorstep is no mean job.In a country like ours where roads are scarce and nearly half the people are illiterate the job of postal employees becomes even more important.It is often the postman who brings you your monthly budget by money order.It is often the postman who reads you your letters.It is said that many regions in our country have a moneyorder economy.Even under normal circumstances, a lot of goodies do arrive by post.So the postal people have to be kept pleased at all times.
The post office has schemes under which people can keep their savings.However the interests offered are measly.
All in all, the postal department are people we just cannot do without.
