The postal department has served for many years now and I think we must be thankful for it.But now the change in the technology and the ease and fastness of modern communication system which has been developed in recent past, the importance of the postal department is fading away.I dont think the new generation folks still use the age old postal system.It is an outdated form of distant communication today. Only the remote villages and Government officials use it. I think the postal department has neve up dated it self, or it will never do it.The competition faced by it is much more, the ease of sending mails through private courier systems has gained importance and the postal department have never thought of this competition.The postal department should up date it self and it should star a cost effective way of mail transfer. It should start a system that will help people to send their mail more faster and with a satisfaction that it will reach the destination.The time has come, it is now or never for the postal department..
