I can’t help laughing as I write this review, the two reviews I’ve written have been on books, and I was wondering what to review next when the answer dawned on me, while I was having a bath, and I decided to review Dettol Cool from the Indian Medical Association.
The antiseptic liquid which has been a common household item, has launched its first anti-prickly heat soap. The soap has a light green colour and the distinct smell of Dettol, but it’s fainter than the original Dettol soap, and in my opinion, better. Obeying the laws of every soap, this does the job of cleaning you very well, but the other benefits are very useful. Dettol cool gives you a cool, refreshing sensation on your skin when you apply it, the formula for the coolness is simple: The more lather, the cooler you’ll feel, however you have to wait for about a minute before the coolness starts having effect, so people who bathe quickly won’t get this sensation. The feeling lasts for quite a while, even after you wash and dry yourself.
The second benefit is that it takes care of prickly heat, and it does it brilliantly. I had developed prickly heat in my throat, and after just a week, it’s all gone, and I bathe only once a day. This soap also takes care of body odour, just remember to apply a rich lather, it’s the only formula for this soap.
Overall, I would say that this is the only soap you’ll need to get through the scorching summer, it’s a very effective product and the soap lives up to its reputation.
