The orginal Devdas was made in 1950’s and 40 years later Indian cinema make re-make of Devdas. The re-make of Devdas was well made a big thanks go to the director Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Producer Bharat Shah who brought to viewer and was hit at the box office back in India and England.
I thought film really made well and hat of to Shah Rukh Khan his acting natural as he get older his acting get better and better. I actually love his films especially DDLJ made in 1995, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai 1998 and Kabhi Kushi Kabhie Gham 2004. Shah Rukh played angry young man and drunk man in Devdas and played well.
A big clap goes to Aishwarya Rai for her acting was out of this world, and she look so beauitful in the film with all the nice saree she ware in the film. I must say Aish’s acting in the film was very matured unlike Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam-1999 but it was still good but not as good as Devdas. I must say her acting improve a hell lot since she started up in 1996 in Aur pyar hogaya with Bobby Doel. It’s hard reaching to the Hollywood status, good luck Miss Ashiwarya Rai.
As for Madhuri Dixit she is my old time favourite, no one can be as good her. Her supporting role as Chandramuki was very good. I can understand it must be hard for her to compete out there because there are so many good actress out there with new talent. But I give her credit as she and her performance is just the best and her acting so natural and she has age gracefully she still look stanning for age.
Over all I would give movie 10 out 10 as it was excellent and if haven’t recommend you watch it. Find out what happend to Devdas, Paro and Chandramukhi.
