Devi complex is very old theater but highly recommended..It has five theaters Devi, Devi Paradise, Devi kala and Devi Bala. Kind of decent movie are shown at Devi and Devi Paradise .Rest are worse. All the theaters are unclean and worse maintenance.
Esp Devi Bala is worse among all.It is not safe and advicable to take a girl along at night to watch any movie other than two mentioned above.The crowd boozes and smoke inside the theater itself.
I had a bad experience and left the theater immediately after seeing the crowd inside.though the cost of the ticket is only 30-50Rs (depending on theater) it is not safe to go there for night shows and car parking is Rs10. You dont have to bother about the tickets at all if u badly want to watch a movie there.Because only 20% of the tickets are sold at counters, rest at black.
when u enter the complex gate itself they will ask you about the movie u want to watch and u can buy 30Rs tickets in 50Rs..and so on..To get cuurent booking ticket at counters itself u hav to go the movie either on weekdays or after a month of its release..
I personally don’t recommend to take ur GF, wife or even ur good friends there for night shows esp to devi bala and devi kala.
