There are some precious things money can’t buy, and other valuable things, money can buy. And then there are some precious things that money can buy, one of such things is the Valley View from the room of Devonshire Greens; the above was the thought that came to my mind when I had the first time view. Perfect magnificent in the view, just like in the movies. All the credit goes to the visionary of the Hotel, who conceived the location of the Hotel in such a Great Location.
It’s such that you ought to get to stay in a view which is just available in the Sightseeing of Hill stations.
And add to it, the luxurious ambiance of Devonshire; its just the best of all. Whether it is Rooms or Lobby area, Reception or Elevation, all are up to the mark of a Category. Excepting the snaps they give on internet, which are somewhat luminary. I assume this is the best of Munnar, that gives not only value for money but also great location. And good part is it is just newly built, so you also get the fresh feel too. I do not have the idea of the price, as we had booked it in a package through the travel company.
Talking of Rooms, all are almost valley view, in which some are Sunrise View which includes balcony but it makes your room space lesser, and the Deluxe Rooms are same in which the balcony space is included in the room which makes it more spacious. And the restaurant is also well strategically situated along with transparency in view. The reception is on the top floor & rooms are situated in the down floors. At the time we had stayed, majority of the guests were of foreign countries.
But, Service is not the part of their USP, as much of the staff is newly trained so one may get disappointment in that area. The time, when we had checked in was 8 pm & on the reception, no senior staff was present. And in the room service, boys don’t exactly understand what you are saying, its when senior staff comes & he solves the query. But that does not mean any major issues.
Contrarily, the restaurant staff is all the way very active & ready to give you that extra service. The continental breakfasts’ Menu Variety, Food Taste, Quality & Service all deserves, as per the star category.
It was great joyous holidays, enjoyed generously, of which the remembrances’ are tenderly packed, wrapped and kept quietly safe down in our minds.
