Dexter is an American crime sitcom which aired from the year 2006. The story is based on a character named Dexter who has a dark history where his Mom was brutally murder in front of him when he was a little kid, he vaguely remembers the scene but that scarred him forever. He was then adopted by a police officer Harry who has a daughter named Debra, Dexter has an issue he cannot control his urge to kill even when he was a kid, and Harry recognized it and channelized it to another direction where he taught him certain codes
And decided Dexter can only kill the wrong doers.
Dexter use to call his other side the dark passenger, he has killed many wrong doers whilst following Harry’s code. Dexter comes out as an intelligent human being with a strong urge to kill, he controlled his urge and directed it towards the bad people.
In this series a lot of hidden pages are unfolded, one leading to another and all pointing to Dexter’s life.
I really like the theme song and the picturisation. Michael C. Hall is an amazing actor and does a good job as Dexter, other actors do a good job too.
This sitcom use to be my favorite but I missed the last two seasons(hopefully I will be buying the DVD soon).
This is the best show in this genre; I hope they come up with a movie or a sequel of the sitcom.
