I have been to DE( Cenotaph Rd) quite a few times and always liked the food there. The best part of the restaurant is the ambience and the music they play. When you listen to the sweet romantic melodies you just want to be there forever. One more attraction in the restaurant is the waterfall. You just feel refreshed when you keep listening to the music and sound of water.
Now lets come to the food. I will start with the positives and this is only for Non-Vegetarians. I never had veg food so for all my veg friends I am sorry I am not in a position to confirm anything on food.
Starters: I always enjoyed the Tandoori Chicken at DE. Cooked in a tandoor the chicken really tastes yummy and its hot and spicy. Some other varieties like kababs etc are also good for a change but my fav is tandoori chicken.
Main Course: The rotis, naan or Parata with Butter Chicken/Mutton Roganjosh really make you hog. These two dishes are again hot and spicy. They are lot of varieties like Chicken Rara, Kadai Chicken etc which are good for a change
Rice: Dont try the biryani/Pulao not a speciality item here.
Dessert: Jilebi is very good. You can have kulfi/Gulab Jamun also.
Service: Service is Average and they shd improve on that. During Peak times its really bad
Negatives: Never try Arabian Chicke. The chicken is half cooked(Always)
Cost of the meal: Average cost per person comes to around Rs150 and after every meal I felt its worth it
