I wont talk about the story here, but something about the movie. I, personally have a liking for sport movies. Especially the motivation building and winning part. Who doesn’t like that part? I guess, everyone. Right? Like all sports movies, this one has its own motivation factor. And that is, play for your color, play for your family, play for
your father.
I hate movies which are copies of Hollywood movies. When I heard about this one Sports movie in Bollywood are latest "in thing". now everyone is trying to cash on the "chak de..." formula. After Apne and Chak De India, I had high hopes for this sports movie. Well, I wont say that its a bad movie or another "record breaking" movie, but it is a good attempt to create a soccer movie. I don’t remember any other Indian soccer movie as Indians are famous as cricket crazy people, not soccer crazy people. The movie also highlights the racism problems we Indians, or should I say all Asians, face in UK.
Forget the story, forget the acting, forget everything. thats not worth writing, but watch it for winning. Watch it to build you confidence. Watch it to smile, to laugh and have that "happy and good feeling".
