Dharma Durai is a village drama movie directed by Seenu Ramasamy(Thenmerku Paruvakaatru and Neerparavai fame)
Vijay Sethupathi- Vijay sethupathi has grown immensely as a performer, he can do any role with ease, and this role is just a cake walk for him, he has done the role of doctor dharma durai very well.
Tamannaah- It is very pleasant to see Tamannaah in a performance oriented role, than the usual heroine role, she should continue doing roles like this.
Aishwarya Rajesh- Aishwarya rajesh has performed extraordinarily well, we cannot see aishwarya in this movie, we can just see the character anbu selvi, talented performers like her should be utilized effectively by directors than importing heroines from north who do not even learn Tamil even after acting for many years.
Srushti Dange- Srushti does not have much scope in this movie, she does whatever she was told to do.
Raadhika Sarathkumar- Radhika has done a great job in acting as Dharma Durai’s mom, it is very nice to see her in roles like this.
Ganja Karuppu- Watching ganja karuppu in comedy role after long time is treat for us, he should get more opportunities, he is a very talented comedian, he has performed his role very well.
Music – First I thought the music is by some new comer, it was so fresh, then I was surprised to find out the music was rendered by yuvan Shankar raja, yuvan is back with a bang, fantastic songs and BGM.
Overall it’s a nice movie to watch with your family, the movie could have been edited more crisply in the first half, execution could have been better, and ending could have been better
