Dhauligiri hill is a sanchi stupa situated 8 km south of the center of bhubaneswar.It is a buddhist place where kalinga war was said to be held .from the top of the hill any one can see the areal view of bhuabaneswar and daya river.in every evening light and sound show is being organised .it opens at 6 a.m and closes at 6 p.m .there is a panthanivas at the top of the hill which provides accomodation to visitors. Around the hill there are a number of picnic spots provided in daily basis rent by a number of land owners.If you plan to visit this place hier a bus or taxy beacuse to this place no govt bus or city bus are running.
