I sent a 15 kg parcel containing some clothes, packed branded food items and misc household stuff, to my daughter in France.
Detailed itemised invoice, bills were submitted.
However, the parcel got sruck in Marseilles and local dhl unit again asked for all documents again. They did not call mydaughter but simply reported this back to me.
It took several emails to three different set of dhl employees to sort this out.
Then to our horror, delivery was attempted at wrong address and the excuse was that the address on parcel got smudged. It took three calls to french helpline and the delivery agent was kind enough to finally deliver it correctly. It took 14 days and several attempts.
Horrible experience overall.
