The latest flick of Bhatt banner is an average movie.
Pooja Bhatt picks up the most burning issue of the day, terrorism, and tries to ask some pertinent questions regarding it in her third directorial attempt ‘Dhoka’.
The movie is neither very good nor very bad. One can say, it is a time-pass movie, with satisfactory performances. The movie although was very average, but I would also like to say that the script/story is brilliant.
The story is probably the best I have ever seen/heard in the past few months. The writer(Mahesh Bhatt) did a great job, but the director(Pooja Bhatt) lost it.The movie was not at all organised ( what I here mean is that, the film could not hold my attention, which according to me was very necessary for a good movie).
Also the songs were ok. Actually, I am not able to describe about the movie to you all as I am totally confused about it. Some part of the movie was out of the world, and other parts were horrible. Therefore, I said the movie wasnt well organised.
The story of the movie is something like this : Zaid Ahmed(Muzammil)** is a city-bred cop, very determined towards its duty and because of his dedication everyone respect him alot.
But one tragic incident changes his life forever. A bomb blast take place where he finds his dear wife sarahs(Tulip Joshi) dead body.Later, he comes to know that his wife carried a human bomb inside her which shatters him up. He then also come to know about his wifes tragic past and cherishes the beautiful moments of his spent with sarah.
The one thing which in the movie disappointed me the most was that Pooja Bhatt didnt justified terrorism in any which way. She only presented a perspective about why do people blow themselves up.
What drives them to this point? What is the real reason is still unknown!
