This is one amazing place. Idyllic settings of a proper Rajasthan-Gujarat village. To describe it is futile so Ill just narrate my experience of the ambience.
We entered the place somewhere in the noon and were greeted with pudina-jaljeera... the taste of which still lingers!! We moved across the area to find the rustic effect of Jhoolas and Khaats in the lawn, camel ride, boating in a tiny pond, swimming in the pool. The swimming pool was actually the only touch of modernity in the surroundings.
There were lavish cottages surrounding the pool which were let out for people who wanted to stay over. There was a Sholay nautanki with the village-like scene being portrayed and Basanti dancing while Gabbar growled. It was complete entertainment with Rajasthani folk dance in once corner, kathputli and magic show to top it all.
We ate the delicious dal baati and churma amongst other delicacies while the kathiawari kedia clad people waited upon us and urged us to eat just a bit more... It was like a treat at home!!!
There was hukka, ice gola and what not.... After eating to our fill and more, we danced to the tune of dhol playing Gujarati and Marwari tunes of Garba and Raas!!! It was the fun that no disco or DJ can ever provide!!! It is an experience worth the while.... was the thought in everyones minds as we made our way out at 11 in the night!!
