A "could have been" Laidback Sunday morning got transformed into a Roller-coaster ride..a simple day got Fun-filled with the magic of Super-Human Action Packed 2hrs 45 min..how??just read on..
the Scenes open with a magnificent(to say the least)robbery by Mr.A(played SUPERBLY by Hrithik Rosha in an author backed role )of a precious crown of a British Royal in a fast moving train somewhere in the deserts of Namibia..The Moment you think youve adjusted to the High Adreline Scenes thrown at you back-to-back youre proved wrong..one after the other, Breathe-taking action scenes explode, taking your breathe away in the excitement.
the opening scene is followed by the "Dhoom Once Again" song with the titles rolling over.the whole film is very well explained in the opening para of the song..
1)dhoom again and run away with me on a rollercoaster ride, dhoom again and see your wildest dreams slowly come alive...
thats the Super-cool Mr.A for you!he steals with aplomb, thinks&works like a Super-Human, sneeks away with his handfuls even before anyone realizes, plans meticulously..and what not!!hes the Master of disguises, roller-skates, Sandboards...Jack of All Trades and Master of All too..
After a series of Magnificent robberies all around the world, fate has him up against One no-nonsense cop(Abhishek Bachchan)&his right hand man(Uday Chopra)..our Super Smart thief dodges them couple of times but they still remain in his hot-pursuit, taking the viewers all along from Mumbai, Junagadh to Rio in Brazil..
2)dhoom again and gotta break the rules and party all the time, dhoom again we gotta steal the show...
its all Party out there..the thief has all the knowledge of the best technology as he dodges everyone in his GAME..truely, Hrithik Roshan steals the show with his briiliant acting..the stunts performed by our own Superman(remember KRRISH)are AWESOME to say the least.he also has a perfectly suiting emotional side to him which is shown in the 2nd half of the film..
the film takes you on a party...all over the globe..thers party in Mumbai, its there in Rio..in the meantime the "THIEVES"(Mr. A with his partner whos introduced 60min into the film, played by Aishwarya Rai)break the rules of Gravity, of the Law & go out on their hunt for all the PRICELESS things..
3)you know that ain’t no crime so steal all that you can the magic you begun..let’s shout, break out comes on once again lets hear it dhoom machaale………
the film weaves its magic all around you even with the wafer-thin plot of cat-mouse game...the sets, the BEAUTIFUL locales, the brilliant frames(captured by Nirav Shah n Vikas Shivraman), aptly aided by the great costumes(Anaita Shroff Adjania), the Action(special credit to the action director Allan Amin), great sound design(Dwarak Warrier), top-notch editin(Rameshwar S Bhagat)and the background music(Salim-Sulaiman)AND Of Course Yash Raj Films for the GREAT product..all keep you on the edge of your seat all through out the duration of the film.
some noteworthy scenes in which the DIRECTION is TOP-NOTCH are the pistol scene involving Hrithik&Aish, the Tunnel chase in the climax and the Climax as a whole(all the actors are mindblowing here, their stunts too good)..but the BEST are the scenes involving Abhishek Bachchan n Hrithik TOGETHER , you need to watch it for the sheer intensity both the actors bring out into the frame..its what you call dhoom machaale.....
DONT watch the film with the aim of comparing it with Hollywood...watch it to know how n by what leaps n bounds our very own Indian Film Industry is progressing technically even with the budget limitation we have(about a Quarter of what Hollywood invests per film). The film takes us to new highs..
To Sum it All up, As Abhishek Bachchan rightly sums up the climax.."Aashiqon ka janaaza hai, zaraa Dhoom se nikalega"...GO WATCH IT!!GO DHOOM!!
