I saw dhoop kinare around 15 years ago. I just loved it. as I was in college Dr Amer Ansari became my best hero more than any of the most romantic heroes in the hindi film industry. and now after so many years he still holds that place. I keep on watching dhoop kinare from time to time just when I feel that my life is become a machine. this play calms me down like a very tall glass of Ice tea. it is the most romantic play I have ever seen. the characters like zoya, dr.ahmer, fassi, baba, anjee and dr. irfan, dr. sheena all of them are so kool.. I can watch this play till I get old and I will always love it!!! I wish atleast one of our indian t.v. serial could be like this. I would compare astitva with dhoop kinare but unfortunately even astitva’s storyline has gone haywire. its become very filmi and holds no more charm.
and none of the heroines of the hindi t.v serials can be compared to zoya who was so natural and sooo cute full of life and least bothered about her make up. infact there was very natural make up done for all the artists compared to Komolika, tulsi, and the rest of the ekta kapoor jokers.
