I’ve used 4 Dial up connections so far but all of it lacked what I needed the most , speed and stability. Just then I was approached by ISP solutions (P). They have a contract to provide Cable/DSL to everyone in our colony.
I never wasted the oppurtunity..500/month 3500 downpayment. The connection was great.I could download a 50 Megs file in just under 35mins. Which would’ve taken days in a dialup. But then things started showing its other side.
The line goes dead every now and then and you call up the service hot no. All they say is ’’Check the ping sir’’. Ping!Ping!Ping!Ping! Nothing happens. Days later after constant bragging a guy comes over boots up m computer Bingo! the connections all right.
Its stable now for a week but still suffer from frequent drowsiness!
If you think of taking a cable/DSL connection check if you need the following only:-
Lower Phone bills
Huge amount of Downloads in minimal time
Online/Real time gaming or applications
Net researcher
Online / Net-based business
Realtime music/Video news etc.
if none of above forget it! Its better to dial up.. check mail send mail close .. copy the latest wallpapers of Ash etc...
