Bond, James Bond is the name of Fictional Spy character, which is ruling our hearts the world over from decades & decades.
Created by writer Ian Fleming, this interesting character when hits the silver screen, it had created cinema history & which is without a shadow of doubt, still rules today & an example of this is his latest release DIE ANOTHER DAY, which is creating world box office records.
Probably the Secret of bond’s success, his Casanova style to woo the women, debonair & his tricks. Bond’s Car, lighter, brief-case, pen, goggles etc. all have got such amazing technology, which makes audience spell bound
Knowing the fact that these GADGETS & their technologies are invented much before than the others actually started using them must surprise you, isn’t it??
For instance, take an example of PAGER, “FROM RUSSIA WITH LOVE” which released in 1963, James Bond got messages on it & there are reasons to believe that, scientists/ inventors were working on development of Pager & in the year 1973, Motorola had come up within world’s first Pager, PAGEBOY-1 for the consumers. If you have seen bond’s movie than you must have seen his Amazing car with all technical gadgets etc. this amazing car was first introduced
“GOLD FINGER” (1964), it was an Aston Martin & it was equipped with Radar Screen on the dashboard, which was covering a radius of about 150 miles, now today you can compare it with GPS (Global Positioning System), this technology helps drivers to locate the correct route & the control room know their route & their whereabouts etc. apart form this his car was Bullet proof & by pushing one button oil slips on the road making the road slippery, behind his car’s parking light , there was a machine gun hidden & by pushing red button on the gear the driver along with his seat ejects himself form the car.
“Tomorrow Never Dies” & “Gold finger“ gave inspiration to Engineers to US Army
For developing state of art motor vehicles which have same features, today they got vehicles like “SMART TRUCK’ which is equipped with Bullet proof glass & it got machines which can through Hand grenades on the enemy & also “LASER GUN” along with oil spillage facilities making following next to impossible.
“FROM RUSSIA WITH LOVE” Bond is provided with a unique “Brief Case”, which if opened by common methods tear gas was erupted from the brief case& a small knife to pops out too. In real life CIA spys use these kinds of brief cases it contains bombs & explosive & if not opened properly, explodes killing the enemy on the spot.
“YOU ONLY LIVE TWICE” Bond is riding on a small mini helicopter & the interesting thing was it carries in four suitcases, assemble it & roll in air. it also carries machine gun rocket launcher etc.
In fact it was not a helicopter but it was like that & it is called “GYROPLANE” the inventor of Gyroplane has been specially invited for the movie & it has rose to 10, 000 feet height, putting everybody in surprise.
It can carry 3 times its weight but due to some technical difficult it was not in demand etc.
“A VIEW TO KILL” which was released in 1965 shown a Robot, who is controlled by remote, cameras in this work like his eye, though it walks on earth but he can see & walk vertical & horizontal directional too, later on many companies had come up Robots like this & they seem quite catching to the public too, last year 19-7 world Trade Centre accident, Robots played a pivotal role in finding human beings amidst tones of debris. .
“THUNDERBALL” which was released in 1965, bond used a small technique by virtue of which he can breathe for at least 4 minutes. British Royal Navy was so much impressed by this that they contacted the film producer & later on gathered information about this & they try to build it (I don’t know how far they succeed, Classified you know),
“ DIAMONDS ARE FOREVER” which was released in 1971, shows a trick by virtue of which fake finger prints can be made in his, a very thin film of desired finger prints can be worn on finger tips, later on this technique was shown on lots of Indian as well as foreign movies & criminals too have used it, though it is just a rumor.
“THE WORLD IS NOT ENOUGH” which was released in 1999, Mr. Bond used spectacles which has X-RAY vision & with the help of this he can see weapons hiding in beneath cloths etc. in realty too we are using X-ray for detecting human bodies for some abnormal developments etc.& in the opinion of the scientists it is possible to peep in human body by Ultra sound waves.
