A Must See Action Adventure Thriller

I would not have seen this one without my dear friend’s empatic verdict of a must-see and I wondered after seeing the other reviews (after seeing the movie) that while they were all praises why did they hold back on all the 5 stars. Heres one flick that certainly deserves six as a matter of fact for reasons u shall soon see. How ever on second thoughts I will hold back the sixth as the American accent of the geek and BW was slightly difficult to follow or should I blame it on EROS lacking in acoustics. By a strange coincidence we discovered that the last (topmost) row of balcony is not designed for seeing the movie as with lots of leg space the seats in this row are more rearword making the screen look -down -angle more of a head watch .

The only way to watch the movie was to perch on the edge of your seat. As I was contemplating to change my seat the trailers ended and the action started and there we stayed till the very end, happily, unflinchingly and un-complainingly perched at the ends of our seats. What more of review do I write now, everything was convincing, cinem.. was excellent, special effects were in plenty and each better and realistic than the other and it was all about one cop against a posse of cyber terrorists who bring the US of  A to a standstill with their cyber-antics. BW comes good with renewed ability to take more punishment with disdainful and cool one liners. Yeah the villain, though aptly blue-collared, seemed slightly innocent with the mean streak was missing.

Also missing was the  intensity  for a hearty revenge when he looses his femme-fatale so one did not end up hating him which somehow does not complete the circle or add up the notches to the hero’s achievement or the feel good factor at the grand finale from your true-blue movie-buff’s point of view. I would rate this as second best of the series. Here’s to happy viewing but don’t be late as you not only spoil other’s fun but also miss the crucial beginning. The movies underlying message : don’t trust Computers too much and watch out for cyber terrorism;  and mine: if you want to do anything but watch a movie then  the last balcony-row in EROS it is.
