Totally ridiculous & unrealistic.

The first Die Hard was a classic, & this film seems so jokerish, putting it on the side. It just didn’t feel like the heart-pounding realistic thriller, the first Die Hard was.

Ok, let me get started by saying this movie started off shakily, but seemed to have a good plot. Bruce Willis is a cop who is off to stop a bunch of hijacking terrorists. He befriends a computer-genius boy, called matt farrell, & makes him his sidekick. O.k. They go in a car, to stop the hijacker/terrorists. They go to meet an overweighted hot-tempered computer-genius guy called, "Warlock", who doesn’t like cops coming into his house to interrogate him? This isn’t even explained well.

The whole movie from here is predictable. Everybody seems to know that John Mclain will remain alive and finally kill the bad guys. There is a scene where, he jumps out of a car, & is so optimistic that it would hit the water pipe, to crash on the helicopter, & blow it off. It seems so power-rangerish. How would a car hitting a water pipe flow onto a helicopter?. it would probably crash right into it.

Oh yeah and John mclain’s "daughter ", Lucy, was too much  to  handle.  Her brattish performance was unrequired. The beginning car scene where she is making-out with her boyfriend, and her dad comes & sneaks up on her, to stop her from doing it, was totally unrequired. . This scene was totally unneccessary. First of all, her dad shouldn’t be sneaking up on a grown up daughter, & second of all, she needn’t talk back to her father like that. Oh yes, when she is in danger & peril then she starts loving her dad & changes her surname back to Mclain, & he starts loving her too+ comes to save her(I would give her a few tight slaps if I were him). Otherwise, she hates him. What a loutish brat Lucy is.

Characters are dragged onto different locations, without being explained why & how they got there. Mclain & his sidekick are hit by an SUV, without getting hurt? Characters crash through glasses & move through them without getting injured. The whole film was quite a mess. What’s wrong with all the other guys?
