Bruce Willis was just another actor struggling for fame.
In one of his very first interviews, Bruce admittied laughingly that he was expecting nothing even close to
being a mega star. That all changed when he made an appearance in Die Hard. A gripping action thriller, mixed with the never seen before cool of Bruce Willis, shot up on
the U.S charts. Detective John McLaine suddenly became a
popular charecter, which led to the creation of the Die Hard
Sereis. The next sequel to Die Hard was Die Harder, then followed by yours truly, Die Hard With A Vengance. The sereis gave the audience no time to breathe, because breathtaking is what the movie was. Bruce Willis was Diying Hard on the box office. The movie collected more on the box office, more than even the sequel to the smash hit Mission Impossible 2.
The movie, by popular director John McTiernan, is mainly about this fanatic having a grudge on Detective Mclain for having killed his father who was a con mclain had once tracked down and terminated, giving him a hard time, and then trying to finish him off. Bruce Willis co-starring with Samuel L. Jackson, playing a role of a black detective who thinks everyone around him has something against his colour, giving high contrast and a comic touch launches off to kick some Villianous butt. The highly familiar soundtrack and sound effects add. Not to mention the stunts and the wit used in the movie. The movie is shot at various locations in the city, giving the sence of danger intermingling with the ordinary lives of the citizens. What would be more cooler that muscle bound Bruce Willis cooly whooping up bad guyz flashing his golden badge all over town. Explosions and Bruce Willis have in my opinion made this film a blockbuster too difficult to endure at just one go.
