I have purchased my Diesel Sunglasses somewhere around June 2016 from the flagship store in Juhu, Mumbai and I was extremely proud to have it in my accessory collection. No doubt the sunglasses added a different level of confidence in me whenever I wore them, they suited me perfectly and I was on the receiving end of compliments from people wherever I went with those sunglasses on . However, after moderate use, I decided to keep those sunglasses away for a while . My unexpected trauma began when I took those sunglasses out, only to see the colour on the edges of the frame to start chipping off.
Since I had spent a bomb to buy that piece of eye wear, I, like a diligent customer went to the flagship store in Juhu within a year of purchase to address my problem and to seek help. To my despair, the flagship store in Juhu has hired personnel which is attractive and good in selling products, but they have no knowledge and cannot differentiate between manufacturing defects and normal wear and tear.
I was informed that my sunglasses are subject to wear and tear and they cannot help me with it. I was given a senior officer’s email address to whom I addressed the issue, but he also blatantly refused to help me with my problem, stating the same reason of wear and tear without even looking at the product .( Please note: The senior person’s reply came after many days of persistence .)
Diesel’s official service provider i.e. Astra Lifestyle Pvt Ltd also proved to be of little or no help when it came to such issues. Their senior management is busy attending Collection launches abroad when important decisions for customer satisfaction need to be taken on a priority basis.
Bottom Line:
ENJOY THE PRODUCTS WITH IMMENSE PRIDE, BUT BE READY TO RUN FROM PILLAR TO POST IN CASE YOU FACE ANY PROBLEM. YOU SHALL GET AN AMAZING EXPERIENCE OF ZERO ACCOUNTABILITY IN TERMS OF PEOPLE IN CHARGE OF HANDLING BUSINESS ON BEHALF OF DIESEL. BE READY FOR RESPONSES THAT "THE PERSON IN CHARGE IS ROAMING ABROAD FROM THE MONEY EARNED AFTER YOU BOUGHT OUR PRODUCTS, HE WONT BE AVAILABLE SOON, PLEASE LIVE WITH YOUR PROBLEMS AND MAYBE EVEN DIE WITH THEM"
