One of the best novels in Crypto

This one wont let u down. The stroy is really gripping and u wont drop the book until u r finished.

The book explains the basics of Cryptography and its working in an excellent manner. The story is weaved around the technology in a very surprising way (thats all I can say as I was really surprised).

I would recommend this book to all techno-geeks. Its a must read for them.

The story tells how a cryptographer works and details on in importance of crypto in the security of a nation.

For the story, the lead of the story ( a lady) is a mathematician (expert in writing/decoding) Crypto algorithms at the NSA. NSA is hacking into everybodys mail and checking what the people are communicating. They have a very huge super computer built for this. A Japaneese (former employee of NSA) does not like this and creates an ’’unbreakable’’ algorithm, which super computer would not even break. He tries to force NSA to confess world what it is doing (ie spying the emails) else he will sell his code. since, the super computer is not able to break it, NSAs operation will be spoiled. The heroine’s part is to break the code and ensure its not spread all over.
