Hi friends, Just gone through listening or rather tolerating the experience of another Himesh bhai album called "Dil diya hai". Yes its the same team of Aashiq banaya aapne, the director Aaditya Dutt, Music director Himesh Reshammiya and Lyrics by Sameer and Emraan Hashmi playing the male lead. Well, if you are a loyal Himesh Fan and want to stand by him come what may, I would still say this album is better avoided. There is nothing new to offer, same old tunes by Himesh bhai, same nasal crooning, same beaten lyrics by Sameer. The title track Dil diya hai sung by Reshammiya and Himani (Sa re ga ma pa) is a torture to hear and Himanis husky voice cannot save the grace. God knows why Himesh tries so hard to be a Sufi singer, if he fails miserably in his every attempt. Dil diya hai is no way different from all the Himesh tracks that we have been listening to now days. This track is a total failure. Mile ho tum to follows next sung by Himesh and Tulsi Kumar. Its a highly forgettable number. If the tune was made first, then the lyricist doesnt know his job and the same is true vice versa. A sad and depressive tune has been loaded with happy https://lyrics. A total disaster. Yaadan teriyan by Himesh behind the mike again, is again a patience test for the listeners. A pathetic attempt to make a Punjabi nuber. Himesh, your voice makes the matter worse. Another Himesh - Tulsi number, Afsana Banake gives you the same feel again, heard before. Highly monotonous and repetitive. himesh bhai, you have run out of tunes and ideas, atleast use some better voices. The non Himesh number helps break the monotony a little. Thisis the old hindi film number( chalo dildar chalo , sung by Sa re ga ma participants Hemachandra, Vinit and Himani) that is a little relief from the torture of Himesh Bhai. Another number by Alisha and Jayesh " Aankh Ladi" brings no difference. Highly avoidable. Needless to say, Akbar Sami brings in remixes of all the six numbers.Which might help the album to gain some acceptance in pubs and discos. Though, nothin worth listening in the remixes as well.. Overall, this is an album which is better avoided. Simply pathetic.
