DHKMN was a light and cool movie based on Raj Kapoor’s Chori Chori and the hollywood flick A Street Car Named Desire. The plot was not new but was handled well.
Aamir Khan played the role of Raghu Jaitley-the cowboy reporter to the hilt and Pooja Bhatt was also good in her role of the spoilt brat. Anupam Kher as always overacted but was overall tolerable.The film’s ending as always was pretty much hindi film ishtyle-very predictable.
The film as a whole was pretty entertaining primarily due to the acting of Aamir and Pooja. Also Tiku Talsania as the crazy editor of the Daily Toofan does well.
The film falls in my list of favorite rewatchables and is a good TP film for a sunday. More enjoyable if its just you and your sweetheart and a rainy sunday afternoon with coffee and pastries.
