**Let's all aller to parler français**

He looked at her. She looked at him. He and she were looking at each other. He admired her beauty; her long silky hair, her almond shaped eyes and the odd red pimple or two, desperately covered with foundation. She saw the commitment and love on his face, which she knew was only for her, as well as the slightly disfigured face with a nose resembling a hook. But both were destined to be together and they knew that they would always listen, dil jo bhi kahey.

This is a beautiful song, saying forget about what anyone or anything else says, people should just follow their hearts. Sung wonderfully by Dominique and Shaan, it introduces a new era of a smooth mix of Hindi and English, as well as a climatic chorus which makes you want to just get up and dance your heart out. I think the words of this song are really sweet, and it is upbeat, fun and Chandra?s current favourite! Rating: 5+

They sat on the graphitised bench on the not so wonderful beach where the sand was approaching a dull black-ish colour. Not the perfect location. But they only had eyes for each other. ?Darling, ? she said, ?I?ve found everything in you. You?re my north, my south, my east, my west. My north-east, my north-west, my south-east, my south-west. My north-north-east, my north-north?..? He interrupted: ?Er?I get the point, and I feel the same way. Sweetie, J?ai bessoin de toi!?

This is a fast dance type techno beat, which clearly outlines the bubbly nature of the movie. It is obviously the perfect song to get your muscles warmed to, with the nice drum and guitar music in the background, and having a kind of ?beach party? feel to it. The name basically means ?I need you?, and I?m not too sure what the context is but it?s nice anyway! :-) Rating: 3

?Do you remember the first time we met?? he asked her. ?Of course, how could I forget; it was too romantic because that was the first time I ever slapped you, ? she answered. He didn?t seem to think so but he let it go because there was no use arguing with her, she could win against him any day! They had many problems in their lives with the ups and the downs, but after all, c?est la vie.

This is my second favourite song in the whole album. It is a song about Holi, the festival of colour and the fun that any family has during that day. It is crammed with singers: the main ones being Vaishali Sawant and Sudesh Bhosle. Aside from being another fast song in the album, it is very well sung and introduces a new theme to Indian music: Indo-French. The combination is weird, but it sounds really sweet. Rating: 5

They had met in the park, where his friends had dared him to walk up to any random and pour water over her, which was a bit stupid, but he had been young and naïve and innocent. He was glad he hadn?t poured the whole bottle because that would have meant there was nothing to cool off his burning cheek. After this incident, he was continuously after her, begging for forgiveness, until one fortunate day, she decided to. And slowly, they realised they were in love. And now their lives had become Kitni Narmi Se.

This is one of the cutest songs in the album, which I really like. Sung by Sonu Nigam, we are immediately introduced to the light lilting melody with the beautiful https://lyrics. The background music is given through a soft drum beat with calm piano playing. I think this song should be listened to whenever people have had a hard day and need some relaxation. Rating: 4

But, in their lives had to come another disaster. Both were the children of two very large business rivals, and when I say rivals, I mean sworn enemies. Their fathers owned two leading chocolate companies, which were constantly competing with each other. When their fathers discovered the love in their hearts, they were furious and tried their very best to separate the two lovers. Heartbreak was what it led to, and kaun jaane what would happen in the future.

This is another one of Shankar?s wonderful singing examples. It also holds a soft, slow rhythm, with a guitar strumming away in the background and a couple of flutes entering in random places. Although not as nice as the others, it is definitely a song worth listening to for its original music and beautiful singing. The lyrics of this song are also very nice. Rating: 3+

He and she decided to meet in secret because there was no other option. The two met in their favourite place: her attic and had a nice candlelit dinner, with a combination of the two chocolates produced by their fathers companies for dessert. But then, their fathers burst in! But, they spotted the two different types chocolates in the bowl. They both tried them and exclaimed with joy. ?Hmm?? said her father. ?The two combined add the taste of mine and the chewiness of yours!? And immediately, they became business partners and his father always said the success was due to ?mere munna?!

This is one of the funniest songs in the album. Forget love, forget Indo-French, this song delves into the secrets that a father tells his son about his naivety of love. The song begins with a really strong beat, and then comes the singer?s ?fatherly? voice. I really like the originality of this song, and I?m sure it will be a complete hit with all of you fathers and Amitabh Bachan fans out there! :-) The lyrics are very true, and the song is sincerely sung. I also like the picturisation of this song! Rating: 4+

The two were together again and their joy was beyond bounds. One day, the two had scheduled to go and watch a movie; but here came the conflict. He wanted a Hollywood movie with Lara Croft, whereas she was looking for Abhishek Bachan and his Dus Bahaane. But he ended up insulting Abhishek, and she ended up calling Lara a slut and there they broke up. He could insult anyone else, but never Abhishek and she could say anything to anybody but not Lara Croft. So the story didn?t end happily ever after! Oh well! :P

Other fabulous songs in this album include Tu nahi jab yahan which is another slow but sweet song, and Sajana Angna Aayo re which is short, but also quite a nice piece of music.

Overall, I think this album is another miracle worked in by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy and his team of fabulous singers. I really like the fusion of French and Hindi lyrics and hope that more of these songs come out too. All of the songs contribute to an album which I hope will make it big, and if it doesn?t then I hope at least Chandra?s title song makes it big! :D

Don’t forget to RRC...:-)
