Finally a movies which proves that super stars do not make a good watchable movie. Excellent music, no story , only one fight, no super stars and well directed. Dont watch this movie for the story - watch it for feeling happy and coming out of the hall refreshed.
This movie also proves that bollywood music of the past is a gold mine yet to be exploited. The lyrics of the old songs used to be excellent - which unfortunately has been replaced these days by ’aye - kya bolti tu ’ type. Let there be a rule that every new movie will use at least one old good song, so that even if the movie is boring - one can survive the time in the hall on the basis of that one song. And this movie DVPV has more than 10 carefully selected songs - each one of which is an old superhit.
But music is not the only great feature of this movie. The new actors/ actresses have acted well coupled with slick direction which makes it such an entertainer.
And I just bought the music cassette of the movie two days ago - just for the song selection.
