The title says it all. Dilmah Teas is a company of Sri Lankan origin and you might best remember it as sponsors of the Sri Lankan cricket team. Its headed by Merril Fernando , who was one of the first professional tea tasters of his country which was Ceylon back then.
The first thing that strikes you about the packaging is his snap, it is there in every pack and his passion speaks for itself. Dilmah has an amazing array of flavors and the one reason you would like to pick it up is the affordability.
At last count most of the large format super markets stock at least 5 different flavours. When it comes to the flavour I certainly think they are right up there with the best in the business. You definitely need to try their cherry flavour which is simply brilliant

All in all this is one product you definitely need to stock in your kitchen , simply because of the variety they bring. There is a downside though and that is the availibility. They are available in a select few stores and that is a dampener. However that doesn’t stop you from hunting for that morning cuppa! , now does it?
