I have purchased DishTv set up box 5 months ago. The picture quality is quite clear and crisp. I don’t have any issues in that. However, if you are buying dish tv for recording purpose, then its not the best choice. Its better to go with other operators to enjoy great recording experience. The issue is that if you are watching a show and while watching you want to record another show playing on different channel, you won’t be able to. DishTv doesn’t allow it. That was quite disappointing for me as this feature doesn’t fulfill my needs. Also, their customer service is a pain. I have got the worst customer service with Dishtv. Their agents are not trained. I think I know their products better than their agents. They need a lot of training. My issues were never resolved on time. Well, if like me you wanna purchase dish tv to enjoy the recording feature, then it is not for you. But if the recording feature is not you are looking for, then you can think about it. But do compare with other operators before buying otherwise you will regret like me.
