I got my dish hd connection at the end march 2011. Nearly one month some or other issues came. They are
New software was not working properly. Initially HD and SD channels was visible, but software used to give problems. Later they stopped SD channels where HD is available.
Installation has to checked and realligned 2-3 times. The complaint was attended after 4-5 days. Service time is not convenient to users.
In first month I was not able to view HD channels properly.
Now every thing is settled and it works good.
But first month charges has gone waste. Company gave me only 4 days of renewal extension, where I expected atleast 3 weeks or NIL extension.
very bad experience on this front..
The monthly charges are exorbitant for HD connection and compulsion of platinum package.
The guide layout was good in Non HD settop box as compared to new HD settop box.
Few suggestions to improve was given to executives. Feel they will never be attended..
The preview window of channel is very small. It can be increased instead of wasting space around it.
Channel names are not shown in complete, so whether is HD is Non HD cannot be identified unless preview comes.
Channel name scroll is very small, fits only few channel.
Channels which are not subscribed, shows message. I question first of all why they are listed, if my package doesnt contain its subscription.
A lot more other points to tell......
