I have a personal grievance to write, so that those who read do not fall into the same trap.The promotional offer in which Shah Rukh Khan appears is a trap.I recharged using those ITZ Recharge Free cash cards for Rs4300 and was given email and SMS saying I will get A-La-Carte channels I choose +movies on demand for the same amount.
(That is why it is said to be free.)The day was 5/2/2009 and I was making a renewal for a year..My renewal date was given as 10/3/2010.But I found out fortunately that they had started charging for those A-La-Carte channels as early as the next month, and my renewal date was preponed to 6/11/2009.It is humanly impossible to use up all that RS4300 worth of freebies in one month.
I do not know if it was some communication gap or misunderstanding or if it is plain cheating.I request anyone who reads this to recharge using the ShahRukh Khan ITZ Free cashcard offer and see whether the offer holds. IF it does not hold, then Shah Rukh Khan should be aware of this and withdraw from this kind of advertising using him.
