I am using Dish TV and for every renewal I have to fight to customer care of Dish TV (very rarely available on phone) for my missing channels, wrong package activation, unnecessary downgrade charges of Rs 40, extra charges for channels we want even after paying Rs. 300/- per month.
Required ITZ cards are not available in market on time, then we need to pay Rs 20 as late payment charges. Rs 10/- commision needs to pay to dealer if want to renew by cash. If you are using package of Rs 220/- you will forcefully have to pay Rs 300/- and still without coordinating with customers Dish TV will give you Rs 300/- package on their own dicission and while complaining will ask you to pay Rs 100 more to cut Rs40/- as a downgrade charges.
Renewal is said to be for 30 days but they will adjust your amount in such a way that your renewal date will come within 25 days and on last day only all channels will deactivate while after payment it will take another half a day to activate the same.
TATA SKY not yet used but heard for good service than DISH TV. But since already given Rs 4000/- in begining for set top box and activation to Dish TV, so will not discontinue and switch to other DTH.
Due to dish TV’s current packages schemes and offers and also, new way of online recharge for renewal I am quite satisfy now with dish TV in all respect. Therefore, I am taking my above complaint back for renewal process of dish TV.
:) Only one suggestion to Dish TV that they should add NEO SPORTS channel which is not currently there in any package I guess.
