Feeling cheated now

Been using the DishTv since 2008 in Ghaziabad. Jave recently added another "multi connection" in our home


The original set top box had malfunctioned. It was sent to repair by the dish tv authorised center, after launching complaint over the call center.


The box was immediately replaced but with an "OLD box" and they charged 395 +170(labour charge) with a claimed warranty of one month.


It has again malfunctioned and now after talking to the people at the ghaziabad office we have been told that the old box shall again be replaced the same way with another "OLD box" with again a warranty of a month


we are willing to pay for a new "set top box" but the people at the dish tv centre say that they cannot provide a "new set top box" but only the older one, interestingly the new boxes are available only with the new connection.


what sense does this make now...?


even when charging close to 700 rupees for it they are not willing to change the box with a new one.


is it that difficult to change the box with a new one.


a few more issues


the company had an "annual maintenance charge"  close to 350 rupees annually , which resulted in no maintenance charge for a year


this, as per the dish tv center in ghaziabad. is no more,


so for a monkey prone area this is really a bad thing


I am sorry dish tv, but I feel cheated now from you, been a loyal customer for 4 year.


Now I feel cheated
