Indeed Dish TV should be renamed Ditch TV. I had several issues with it, till I shifted to Tata Sky.
Tata Sky is costly, but they provide superb service. There are absolutely no issues with their prompt response. Even a complaint over e-mail is quickly attended to. The guys and gals of the call-centre are well conversed with the technicalities and solve most of them over phone. Those who come over to fix antennas and all are polite and efficient.
So, ditch Dish TV and go for Tata Sky.
