Dish tv from Zee is truly very poor. I am using it over two years and sharing my experience here:-
dish tv sucks when it rains.That time it only display "No Signal".
some channels goes off at night frequently. It may reappear after few minutes or hours.

pathetic customer service. whatever you complain they never
respond. you get new new complain numbers, get absolute lie from them.
but no service. this is very pathetic. you need to always make STD to
Delhi, it keeps you on hold long time. then call center people
appear and gives you false promise/bluff. some times(specially at
night) they are quite arogant also. people should refrain from using it.
if you get into any problem then it will never be addressed. no one cares.
if by chance anyone comes they will not be having any bill. will charge you much more than the actual amount.

dealers want to extract additional money on pretext of different
technical problems that does not exists. I was told your STB is old,
needs to be updated. I was told to carry it to the dealer. He will
update but the dealer(Forward Technologies, Button Centre, M.G. Road)
wants a fee for that though
dish tv claims it is free. I bought STB for zee dish tv paying Rs. 5500/= around 2 and half year back.
- I have seen sometimes my subscribed channel shows me "No Access".
After making few STD calls to their call centre in Delhi(after few
redirections) they found by mistake I have been put on
a basic package. This time when I called up dealer they wanted to do a service of the STB for a fee.
- Quite expensive compared to cable. Your disk will not be set properly to ensure your problem.
then you are left to dish tv’s mery.
Please think before buying it.
