DishTv customer care representatives are big Liars. They give false assurances and promises. Here is the proof:
I had written an email to dish tv:
I would like a clarification from your side on what all Sports channels from Sony Ten, Sony ESPN, Sony Six are part of my package both std definition and High Definition. I shell ot Rs. 1050/- per month, which is not a small amount and I don;t get the service that I can expect.
I would like to bring to your notice that the customer care executives who handle customer requests are not sure what all HD channels are availabl to me on my VC no 01501576769 and 0156051130. Last time when I had asked for call back regarding Sony Ten channels, I was told that Ten 1 HD is not the part of my package, despite of telling him again and again that it is and I have been watching it, the executive said no. and said I will have to pay extra. Today when I again called, the other executive told me it is part of my package and activated it. This whole episode gives an impression that your team of executives are unprofessional, ignorant and dont know what is to be served to a customer. I am a dishtv subscriber since 2006. This has been my experience and a constant complaint: Every
time I recharge, I have to call you and tell you again and again and again and again to activate the channels which are part of my package. A very sad situation. You can decide where you people stand when it comes to customer satisfaction.
Waiting for at-least a reply.
Mr Umair Asif Khan called me and spoke to me for 20 mins and assured me that the channel Sony Ten 1 is a part of my package and will be shown and I will not face a similar issue again.
After recharging today for the next month, I am again getting 103 HD Channel Not subscribed message.

I will soon change and end my 12 years association with them. Dishtv is not an honest company.
I feel pity for people who paid for 1 year of service and are stuck with dishtv. They may be cheated anytime. A case of pathetic service. Mr. Subhash Chandra is seen mentoring the youth whereas his customer care executives are a failure.
I had to call service center again and again to get the problems resolved. Now I am facing another issue. I get a message that my account is low and the set top box hangs up. Even though I have 1000 rupees in the account.
