I just bought Dish TV South Gold Saver Pack for Rs.1900(including 200 for installation) and free subscription for 5 months. I have been searching about all the dth provides for the past week. I contacted a few local dealers also. And on the way, I came to read the reviews here at mouthshut also :-)
From the respective websites I found that the below packages contains almost similar channels..

I didn’t like the way the new channels get added for the other provides...they add it in some new a la carte packages or something..so I selected dish tv and it seems to give better customer support as I read from many articles..
Picture and audio Quality
The local dealers did say that the picture and audio quality of Big TV is the best...but I am not disappointed with dish tv..its very good
Reception
they installed it yesterday during mild rain..it was activated with half an hour after installation..there was decent rain in the evening..there was not cut-offs or reduction in quality..they did say that during heavy rains it might go for some minutes and will come back automatically..
